Imitations

The origin

The universe is quite strange.
No matter how giant it might seem, it's made up of teeny-tiny particles and creatures like us, billions of us. In the same manner, billions of atoms and cells make up for our individual bodies. Regardless of its size, the fact that each atom and cell forms an integral part of our bodies is undeniable.
But this is not the only similarity existing between this universe and us.

The "Sad Poop"
Do you remember the time when for some unfortunate reasons you couldn't poop? This might have happened because you weren't in the right place. Or it wasn't the right time. Or you were feeling too shy and intimidated. Or you didn't wanna feel embarrassed.

Now, this might sound a bit weird, but your emotions are very much like poops. For some reasons you don't let those emotions out and there you are, burdened and suffocated by those same emotions. You decide not to cry in front of someone because you don't want to feel vulnerable. You decide not to laugh too much cuz you might look crazy. You don't want to express your happiness cuz someone might find you irritating. You bottle up your emotions for so long that it now starts affecting you. Badly.

Bottled up Emotions
And now as you didn't let the poop out, you feel nauseous, suffocated, get headaches. You feel like wanting to puke it all out. But on the other side, if you had "pooped out" your emotions you would've been more relaxed. You would've felt much lighter. You would've felt the 'haaah' emotion(might need an extra 'a' here).

This is how biology imitates psychology or vice versa. To be honest, they don't care who's more dominant cuz unlike us psychology and biology don't get offended for small things.

Effects on a  Plant
Do you remember when we studied that a plant can almost die if it's made to listen to bad, torturous, abusive things or even bad music? Yeah, the same thing happens to us when we listen to the 'New age Bollywood remixes'. This one might not be scientifically proven, but, come on we don't need science to tell us that! Imagine a group of scientists working to find out the side effects of Bollywood remixes. Terrible.

Human Eye and Nebula
Be it the similarities of poop and emotion or the situational resemblance in humans and plants, the universe has always imitated different forms and parts of itself. The veins on a leaf looks exactly like our nervous system. The resemblance of a nebula and the pupil of our eyes is uncanny. Plant roots, our nerves and even strikes of lightning branches out to grow.

The universe communicates with us through these imitations. It connects us to the other parts of itself. Every minute it sends out signs of everything being the same or perhaps...everything...being one. Through similarities, it expresses the idea of the singularity.

"The reason it becomes so tough
to see something extraordinary
and stop yourself from imitating it is
perhaps the fact that you were never different from it."

It's Casual

A few days back a friend of mine showed me a picture of a girl and without much thinking I instantly asked him “girlfriend??” and just as I was about to feel the dumbest person on earth, he gave an even dumber reply. He said it was “casual”. Attraction So almost all my friends have been in casual relationships and I am pretty sure none of them was in their senses while doing so. I mean being with someone because you were simply attracted to them doesn’t make any sense to me at least. Has time become so worthless for everyone that they just want to waste theirs on someone else? Or is the time they already have for themselves not enough that they want others’ time and attention as well. I think the whole idea is to generalize every special aspect of life. Be it a relationship or even a feeling. Earlier a relationship meant two people being connected. This connection could be in any form be it a friendly connection, spiritual connection, platonic connection or anything that ...

The Truth Behind Truth

Truth..... What comes in your mind when you first read this word? Facts, rightness, being true, reality??? Half of you might think of other synonymous words like these that might describe the truth. But the other half of you might have questions arising in your minds like "what exactly is truth?", "does it really have just one meaning?", "is truth universal?" and many more, just like I do. For now, I don't have answers to any of these questions. But why not try going deep into it? Who knows what kind of truth might be awaiting us? It's 3 in the afternoon, people are probably having their nap time, some are still working and then there is me who has absolutely no work to do, just gazing at the bright blue sky. I look at the moving clouds and recall a memory from my childhood... Cottony Cloud When I was little, I believed the clouds were big cotton balls and that one day I will go all the way up and bungee jump on those...

Self Love

How amazing it is to fall in love with yourself! Blissful, isn't it? But are you really loving yourself?  Loving oneself doesn't just mean appreciating your beauty and booty. It is not just checking out yourself in the mirror all the time. It is not just about admiring the fact that you look good in pictures all the time. It is not about smiling all the time. It is not even about happiness all the time.  It is more about feeling content. It is about not feeling terrible when you feel lazy when you feel helpless when you are longing for certain things, people, places, when you are desperate when you are frustrated when you can't do even the smallest of things when you feel low. Self-love is not just about bathing and cleaning your body but also about meditating and cleansing your mind. It is not just about glamorizing your body but also about exercising your brain. It is about realizing that you too might have some toxic traits. You can't blame everyone ...
